We will have a special worship time on Sunday, May 27. The worship group New Hope 29:11 is on their Reconciliation Exchange Tour, traveling all the way from Cape Town, South Africa. This unique musical group embodies all the aspects of Hope Exchange by exchanging talent, cultural values, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ toward a better future. The group of young vocalists and musicians serves the community through their music ministry. They often provide “food for the soul” in the community and assist with community feedings, day camps, and other programs for neighborhood children of the Jeremiah Project. Questions? Immigrant Hope, directed by Pastor Jeff Groen of Evergreen-Bloomington, is a non-profit organization that was created to serve the immigrant community in Bloomington and the Twin Cities south metro area with the HOPE of the gospel, HELP finding a pathway to legal residency, and a HOME in a church that cares for their needs. The staff is accredited by the Department of Justice and meets with immigrants, helping them understand their options and, if able, providing low-cost immigration legal services.
